Containers

Every container undergoes a comprehensive technical process designed to guarantee dimensional accuracy, mechanical strength and optimum thermal performance.

Our protocol combines advanced metrology, controlled heat treatment processes and high-precision machining, ensuring maximum quality and reliability at every stage.

INSPECTION AND DELIVERY

OUTER SHELL 37–40 HRC

INTERMEDIATE SLEEVE 40–44 HRC

LINER 47–51 HRC

ASSEMBLY

1. Initial Inspection

Before any work begins, a complete inspection of the container assembly is carried out:

  • Dimensional measurement of the container, with or without reference drawings.
  • Hardness testing and liner condition assessment.
  • Detection of deformation, cracks or structural defects through visual inspection and technical evaluation.
  • Identification of containers equipped with electric heaters to determine the appropriate handling and processing procedure.

This stage defines the actual scope of work and ensures full process traceability.

2. Disassembly

The liner can be removed using two specialised methods:

Machining Removal

Applied when deformation, cracking or severe damage is present.

The liner is completely removed through precision machining, ensuring a clean and dimensionally accurate internal surface.

Heat & Cold Removal Process

A high-precision thermal procedure:

  • The container is heated in a specialised furnace to approximately 460°C during a cycle of around 36 hours.
  • At the same time, the liner is internally cooled using sealed refrigerated end caps.
  • Once the optimum thermal differential has been achieved, the liner is extracted vertically in complete safety.

This process minimises internal stresses and preserves the original geometry of the assembly.

3. Grinding & Inspection

  • Complete verification of all internal and external diameters.
  • Precision grinding and lapping processes.
  • Final crack detection and ultrasonic testing.
  • Manufacturing of the new liner begins, which will later be fitted into the container body.

We guarantee tight tolerances and perfect contact between the liner and the container.

4. Assembly & Final Preparation

  • Heating of the container prior to vertical liner installation.
  • Controlled cooling inside the furnace to achieve the optimum interference fit.
  • Final grinding and dimensional inspection before completion of the process.

5. Final Inspection & Delivery

  • Complete inspection of dimensions, tolerances and surface finish.
  • Recording of inspection data and final validation before shipment.
  • Technical packaging and full process traceability documentation.
